Journalistic work[edit]

Conrad is notable for his biography of Harriet Tubman. It was one of the first written and is at least partially responsible for elevating Tubman's stature as a historical figure (even if it wasn't a very objective biography). I would also like to add a bit about his role as a crusading social reformer/activist writer. Divine (talk) 20:16, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
