surname[edit]

Cokayne's Complete Peerage says that the correct surname of the Earls of Athlone of the First Creation was "van Reede", though they were known by "Ginkel" in England. Ginkel was only one of the several Dutch lordships which they held. As most of them have no articles yet, I've standardized the names to correspond to the account in Cokayne, as this is the source most are likely to reference. - Nunh-huh 11:10, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
