Senior / Junior[edit]

In what way is this league a "senior" league? It was my understanding that the tier(s) of football below Scottish Division 3 were regarded as 'juniors'.

Leagues registered to the Scottish Football Association are senior leagues; leagues registered to the Scottish Junior Football Association are junior leagues. As well as the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League, there are three 'non-league', in English terminology, leagues which are senior rather than junior as they are registered to the SFA: the East of Sctoalnd Football League, the amateur South of Scotland Football League and the strongest of the three, the Highland Football League. --Pretty Green (talk) 09:01, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gretna 2008[edit]

Are Gretna 2008 members of the EoSFA? Now they are in the Lowland League will they be playing in EoSFA cups or SoSFA ones?Andrewdpcotton (talk) 12:11, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
