Not to sound pedantic, but the section entitled "Context for Ecobricking," while informative, lacks the formal and neutral tone needed for an encyclopedic entry of this kind.

General Concerns[edit]

Hi! Looking this over for the first time in a while and just getting started on the editing side of Wiki. I'd like to start a convo about getting more (and less) into this page. I saw someone post that the "Context for Ecobricks" section may be unnecessary / superfluous and I agree. At least it could be condensed? The amount of links / citations on this page seems to be a bit much. There are also references to a lot of building styles that do not incorporate ecobricks so to say - such as using empty bottles as a wall filler. I'd also really like to see a section specifically about Bottle Schools and the Central American projects - projects that I feel are some of the most important when it comes to utilizing ecobricks. So here I am trying to make some necessary changes and I have changed my username. I have a conflict of interest because I own one of the projects in the article - Upcycle Santa Fe. I would like to start a conversation with all the editors of this page in hopes to make it cleaner and less biased. I received a message from Spokeofsource. I'm new to the talk page function, so I apologize if I'm not following the etiquette or procedure for using it. I'm trying to make the tone of this article more impartial, in particular by attributing statements of opinion to the people and/or organization expressing them (rather than stating them as fact). I don't have any conflict of interest, other than that I know several of the people involved in the Global Ecobricks Alliance. Thanks! Ecobrick house[edit]

An ecobrick is a plastic bottle packed with used plastic to a set density. They serve as reusable building blocks.
