Birth and death[edit]
A person named Edward Leroy Crain, born in 1903, died in Jackson County, Oregon in 1975 - [1]. Is this the same person? It seems highly likely to me, but I don't know the origin of the 1901 birth year that was in the article. A bit of further searching via publicly available records which I accessed through Ancestry.com suggests that Edward Leroy Crain was born in Texas on December 27, 1903, and died on March 15, 1975. I've added this in to the article as it seems very persuasive to me, but if anyone objects it could be put as a footnote. Ghmyrtle (talk) 09:37, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
