article title[edit]

Thanks a lot for all the assistance, everyone. I'm just wondering if the title should not include some reference to World War One as this corps only operated at that time? I suggest 'WW1 Egyptian Camel Transport Corps'.--RoslynSKP (talk) 02:56, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, it's fine right now. Unless there are other Egyptian Camel Corps articles on Wikipedia, then there's no need. fetch·comms 17:14, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion[edit]

Good work so far on this article. I have one suggestion: I think the wrong infobox is being used. Currently the article is using the conflict infobox, but it would be more in line with other similar articles to use the military unit infobox. The source coding can be found here by going to: infobox templates. AustralianRupert (talk) 02:42, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot. Regarding the infobox - I agree - I just copied the one on the "Sinai & Palestine campaign" page but will try to change it - I really don't understand them.--RoslynSKP (talk) 03:00, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Tried military unit infobox but a lot of info which sits well in the conflict infobox can't fit in the military unit infobox. Also there doesn't appear to be much to say in the military unit infobox about the Egyptian Camel Transport Corps. Tho, I agree there is a problem. --RoslynSKP (talk) 04:07, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
IMO, it needs an infobox, even with the minimal information necessary.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 22:20, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DYK entry[edit]

Thanks a lot, but these soldiers suffered camel bites during training, not all the time.  :) --RoslynSKP (talk) 06:15, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

3605 hits were recorded from the DYK entry. Thanks a lot--RoslynSKP (talk) 07:56, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
