Finkelstein[edit]

Finkelstein et al, 1997, p. 563 writes:

Yaqut (IV. 1005) described the village as divided into two waqfs, one bought by the sultan al-Mu'azzam (LeStrange 1890:550; Marmardji 1951:207).

….but LeStrange 1890:550 doesn’t say that, at all! (link in the article). What Marmardji 1951:207 say, I don't know, as I don't have that ref., Huldra (talk) 20:55, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed re LeStrange. I can look at Marmardji in a day or two. Zerotalk 02:35, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Huldra: The information and more is in Marmardji's book. It seems very useful; pity it is in French. A scan will fly your way soon. Zerotalk 08:39, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Zero0000: still waiting for it... Huldra (talk) 23:53, 27 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Huldra: Visiting your mailbox about 5 minutes from now could be productive. Zerotalk 01:33, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Fossil site[edit]

I'm missing the 'Ein Yabrud limestone where fossils from the Cretaceous have been found. --Melly42 (talk) 10:28, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
