Which photo? Image:Sagrada Familia Eixample from Montjuic.jpg says it is recent. Is this incorrect? -SCEhardT 02:18, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Again (i guess the same anonymous user had doubts about the same picture linked from the Sagrada Familia article): i took this photo myself in June 2006. Please, anonymous user, stop this nonsense. What on earth tells you it is 20 years old?
25 years ago the section between the two main facades was virtually inexistent!! (see http://www.gaudiallgaudi.com/AA012crono.htm)

You're also welcome to check the EXIF info of the photo so we can close this sterile debate.--Jullag 11:22, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm the anonymous boy. The sagrada family's photo is very older ( i'm from Barcelona )And this is not the Barcelona eixample. In this moments there are Agbar tower, works in Glories with new towers ( hotels, companies etc ) This is my opinionon, if you would you can still leave the older photo, but you can see this photo and you can see the diferences ok? thanks and sorry by my poor english ;) The Eixample's photo ( more clear )http://www.ub.es/dppss/psicamb/eixample.jpg ---> —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.27.17.46 (talk) 19:59, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

more on the original design and what parts of it were not built?[edit]

Hi, this is a good article but I'd love to read more about the original plan for Eixample, and especially the story behind which parts were not built. I love the area but I always feel that it could have been so much more. The impossible-to-avoid traffic, the lack of parks etc. I love the original plan of 2 or 3 sided buildings - what happened that the plan wasn't followed? The education section[edit]

The bit about the japanese library makes no sense here, it's hardly noteworthy and it cannot possibly be the only educational institution of note in that neighborhood, can it?
