Re: Disambiguation[edit]

Consider not simply distinguishing father from son, but also adding disambiguation link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elias_Boudinot_(disambiguation) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.15.136.71 (talk) 16:11, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Article classification[edit]

It appears that this article has sufficient content, including citations to be rerated. It certainly is beyond stub class. Bruin2 (talk) 17:36, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cherokee descent[edit]

@User:Lieutcoluseng Out of curiosity, what is the basis for categorizing him as "Cherokee descent" rather than Cherokee/Cherokee Nation? Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 02:13, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bohemian Baltimore. Here's an Internet Archive link to sample publication detailing Elias's Cherokee descent: Page 566. Newspaper obituary contained the following sentence: "Col. Boudinot was a quarter blood Cherokee Indian." By all accounts; Elias lived in Georgia, Arkansas and DC. Hope it helps. Lieutcoluseng (talk) 06:09, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
