Rusev Injury[edit]

Rusev was injured at the Smackdown taping Tuesday 5/26/2015. He was replaced by Mark Henry at the Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber Match.

Pay-Per-View[edit]

the word Pay-Per-View keeps get thrown around in this article. The super card show is being broadcasted exclusively on the WWE Network, does that actually make it PPV? I mean I subscribe to a satellite provider to watch Raw but I don't pay per episode, just like the WWE Network is subscribe to monthly service. This is literally not a pay-per-view. No-one is paying per viewing of this show - this is a Network exclusive supercard. Doesn't mean it shouldn't have an article or be included on chronology whatnots, but it's not a PPV. Tony2Times (talk) 08:16, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a pay-per-view, despite what WWE says. It is not being broadcast on cable or satellite, only on WWE Network. Yes this should definitely be included in the Elimination Chamber chronology, but it shouldn't be included in the WWE pay-per-view chronology and it shouldn't be referred to as a WWE pay-per-view. As it turns out, Elimination Chamber 2015 will be on PPV after all. WWE.com shows which countries it will be available on. In the United States it is only on WWE Network, not PPV. But a lot of other countries, includng Canada, are airing it on traditional PPV. So this should be considered a PPV. It would've been nice if WWE announced this 2 weeks ago. When I choose Canada and go to the "Watch on TV" option, three of the four box office links are broken; the one working link has events listed but Elimination Chamber is not one of them. When I select my native UK, there's also a non-working Sky Box Office link that simply redirects to the main Sky Sports page. Looks like an error at WWE.com (a standard link to PPV providers being given, when they're not actually providing anything). I reckon WWE have been hammering that it's "exclusively" on the Network for a reason. Best reverted per consensus, unless there's something concrete. It's definitely airing in many countries on PPV. Check that link again. WWE has specificially said "Exclusive in the US" for a reason because a lot of countries are airing it on PPV. I don't know if the UK is one of those places airing it on PPV or not, but as long as it's airing in one country on PPV then it should be considered a PPV. Not a PPV in the UK, but Sky are showing it recorded next Sunday on Sky Sports 2. So it's not completely exclusive to the Network in the UK, it's just Network exclusive live. Hence my attempt to adjust the wording in the opening paragraph. Raikje (talk) 21:19, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Still not convinced about those box office links on WWE.com, though. For example, WWE says EC was available via Sky Box Office in the UK, when it patently was not. The event wasn't mentioned anywhere on the Sky Sports site, nor was it listed on the box office TV schedule. If Sky had offered it, they'd still be airing re-runs as usual with pay-per-views; the only thing advertised on their site is Money in the Bank. You may well be correct about the PPV not being offered in the UK, but if you'd went in and searched for EC on the Canadian providers' sites, it was there - WWE's links were just a little wonky. Anyway, like you said, definitely PPV. Wayback Machine nabbed the official German box office page, in case it's needed.[1] For what it's worth, Wrestling Observer reporter Bryan Alvarez said on the May 12 edition of the Bryan & Vinny & Craig Show that WWE had cut deals with traditional pay-per-view providers to air the event. Wording in intro makes it look like Dean Ambrose is World Champion[edit]

Orphaned references in Elimination Chamber (2015)[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Elimination Chamber (2015)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
