Cleanup[edit]

This article needs summarizing and condensing. It's way too long for a character that's only been around for a short time. This isn't supposed to be his life story. CovenantD 05:35, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Someone posted a burrito...I'm fairly certain that has nothing to do with Elixir. -David Cabrera

Powers and Abilities[edit]

About his ability to restore life...I got the impression that while he can heal people that are critically or mortally injured, they still have to be alive for his healing to work. For instance, when he tried to heal Northstar it didn't work. Though Northstar's body was healed, the "spark of life" was gone, and the same goes for DJ. With Astonishing X-Men I got the impression that though greviously injured, they were all still technically alive, which allowed Josh's abilities to work.--Wakefencer

In a fairly recent issue of New X-men, he regrew someone's heart. David, I think. Seeing how most of medical science considers someone dead once their heart stops, I think it's fair to say that Elixir revived him from the dead.--Aradraugfea —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.168.212.91 (talk) 05:24, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If there's any distinction, I would rank that with "resuscitation." He isn't reviving someone like the Scarlet Witch, he just managed to get David's blood pumping in time or David's body not to completely shut down.Luminum (talk) 07:08, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Elixir.jpg[edit]

Image:Elixir.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
