Under character reception it should be noted (by someone) that massive fan campaigns have prevented Rebecca from being fired/elizabeth being written off the show... at least twice I think. It's very rare for a fan campaign to be successful like this, elizabeth fans are a powerful bloc. I'm on my phone and dont have sourse handy but this is an extremely notable piece which is missing from this article. I suggest anybody wanting to edit this article start there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amyanda2000 (talkcontribs) 11:50, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Elizabeth's baby[edit]

Please do not post rumors about the name or gender of Elizabeth's baby, unless you can link to a published source which verifies this information. See Wikipedia:Verifiability. Thanks, Elonka 01:57, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I can appreciate the fan enthusiasm for the new baby in the show, but I just don't believe that there's enough out-of-universe information to really warrant a separate article at this time. I recommend that the pertinent information at Jacob Martin Spencer be merged to Elizabeth Webber Spencer, and that Baby Jake's name(s) be set up as redirects to Elizabeth's page. When the character is older and actually has an independent storyline and notability, a separate article can easily be re-established. --Elonka 20:59, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About merge[edit]

I think that we should just leave it as it is instead of keep merging everything together. Jacob does have a storyline about the kidnapping. Whoever put that Sam took Jake, please remove it because no one knows for sure that she took him. It's just a rumor.

Too much[edit]

Seems to me, I could be wrong, but the article seems to have become TOO MUCH like a Lucky/Liz article and less about Liz in general. DJ-Siren 20:55, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No Merge[edit]

I do not think the pages should be merged.

If you don't think the article about warranted, don't visit it. If you prefer to read Elizabeth's page, do that. But why delete the article or merge it with another after it was already posted. It is just unnecessary.

Please don't merge[edit]

I don't know how the final decision is made, but I vote no merge. I think they should remain separate articles. I actually found the page as a link from Alan Q's page, something I never fould have found if it were buried on Liz's page. (Teri 04:37, 18 July 2007 (UTC)).[reply]

Don't Merge[edit]

I don't believe that these pages should be merged either. JM does have an s/l, furthermore other "soap children" without major storylines have their own page. - Cake0610

In-universe[edit]

I tagged this article as {{ununiverse}} because it reads like a biography rather than an article about the subject matter. Please see WP:WAF. --Tony Sidaway 15:39, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Writing a BOOK[edit]

Please refrain from writing a novel about your favorite pair. The basic facts are all that is necessary. Obviously, characters with whom Elizabeth shares a longer history will demand lengthier sections. Please keep in mind that this page should focus on Elizabeth first and foremost and that opinions should be left out as well as "flowery" language. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Correctone (talkcontribs) 04:24, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Surrogacy & Children Details[edit]

Elizabeth's surrogacy for Jax & Courtney is mentioned in the article. However, the child she miscarried was NOT HERS and should not be listed in the "Children" section of the relationships box. The child belonged to Jax and Courtney and was absolutely no relation to her. -Correctone —Preceding unsigned comment added by Correctone (talkcontribs) 21:43, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Details like "Lucky is raising him" are really not necessary to include in the relationships box. The article clearly states that Lucky is still pretending to be the father of Elizabeth's children. ~Correctone
