Motion to merge Elliott Associates to this article

These are part of the one set of investment vehicles controlled by Paul Singer, and substantively and operationally effectively similar to warrant we on Wikipedia treating them as a single unit. When there are key differences in the actors (Associates or Management Corporation) we can break this into sub-sections and detail the activities of each. It makes sense that Associates is folded into this article because the Management Corporation is the holding corporation. TheSoundAndTheFury (talk) 18:10, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

Good idea, I agree with your motion. Safehaven86 (talk) 20:21, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Sounded logical, and there was a lot of material in common between the two articles, so I went ahead with the merge. Please let me know if you see any issues. AdventurousSquirrel (talk) 02:50, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

It seems to me that this page violates Wikipedia guidelines

Wikipedia has guidelines requiring that content present a neutral point of view.

Elliot Capital Management is involved in an important and well known controversy with the government of Argentina and other governments where it has been accused of champerty and manipulation of the international financial system.

The page presents Elliott Capital Management as a sort of Robin Hood that is fighting against corruption in foreign governments. This is quite implausible.

Given the significance of the coverage of this in the media, the article should be significantly revised.
