When Elsa Morante was born?[edit]

Most Wikipedias, and also the Britannica, state that Elsa Morante was born in 1918. However, some Italian sites, and the Italian Wikipedia, state that she was born 6 years earlier, in 1912.

Here are some 1912 sites:

I believe that 1912 is the right year, and so I have written in the Hebrew Wikipedia, but I want to be sure.

Hello Elsa Morante was born in 1912 indeed - the websites you quoted are correct. I do not have other official sources that state this - but the fact that she was my great-aunt so I am 100% sure :-)
