Not being an expert...[edit]

...on Elton John, I don't understand if there is a good reason why Elton John Band Featuring John Lennon and the Muscle Shoals Horns - recorded on 28 November 1974 and released by DJM in many countries in 1976 and again in 1981 - here -- is not included in this list. Am I missing something? It seems to be an official release in those countries - though not issued in the US or UK. Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:27, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

elton john 350 million albums[edit]

NOT SURE WHY WIKIPEDIA ALLOWS SUCH WILD FIGURES TO BE PUT DOWN ON A SUB PAGE WHEN THEY WILL ONLY SAY OVER 300 MILLION ON THE MAIN PAGE. ALONG WITH THE 100 MILLION ON THE SINGLES PAGE THAT MAKES 450 MILLION IN TOTAL. LOTS OF STRANGE THINGS SEEM TO HAPPEN TO E,J WHEN IT COMES TO SALES ,WHY FOR EXAMPLE DOES NOT THE LION KING RANK AS A E,J ALBUM OR AT THE VERY LEAST GET THE CREDIT FOR IT IN RIAA CERTIFIED ALBUM SALES.WHILE EVERY ONE ELSE DOES ELTON DOES NOT OR THAT GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD DOES NOT GET DOUBLE CERTIFICATION FOR TWO RECORDS LIKE BILLY JOEL OR LED ZEPPLIN WHEN THEY PUT OUT DOUBLE ALBUMS, SO IT WOULD BE 16 MILLION NOT THE 8 MILLION .THAT ADDS UP TO 18 MILLION NOT UNDER ELTON JOHN'S NAME JUST IN AMERICA05:39, 15 December 2017 (UTC)05:39, 15 December 2017 (UTC)05:39, 15 December 2017 (UTC)05:39, 15 December 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.75.195.157 (talk)

Elton: Jewel Box[edit]

I recently added a page for Elton's new collection, Jewel Box, a compilation featuring several previously unreleased songs and b-sides, similar to the album Rare Masters. I was disappointed to find that the page was reverted back to a redirect the next day with the comment "Restore redirect as per wp:nalbum".

Update: I have spoken with the user who reverted my edits about this and I have now been informed that all I have to do is provide better citations for the page to be restored.

Elton John Discography[edit]

According to https://www.eltonjohn.com/discography?category=Studio they officially consider The Complete Thom Bell Sessions and collaboration albums (Duets, The Union) as studio albums. So, I highly recommend editing the numbers and corresponding articles as this order

Empty Sky ~ Reg Strikes Back - 1~21 / The Complete Thom Bell Session - 22nd / Sleeping With the Past ~ The One - 23~24 / Duets - 25th, 1st collab / Made in England ~ The Captain & the Kid - 26~30 / The Union - 31st, 2nd collab / The Diving Board ~ Regimental Sgt. Zippo - 32~34 / The Lockdown Sessions - 35th

The ones that are mentioned as studio albums seem to be right.

Elton's Discography[edit]

No mention of his 3rd release, ...
