I am front Jangareddy Gudem (Lakkavaram) next to Eluru, and my wife is from eluru. I am not aware of a Eluru River in that area. We have tammileru there, but no such thing as Eluru River. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.254.4.9 (talk) 06:09, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

The UA constituents include Sanivarapupeta (8,142), Satrampadu (6,393), Gavaravaram (10,029), Tangellamudi (8,250), Komadavolu (1,774), Eluru (R) part (12,466). While Eluru (M.Corp) has a population of 203780. So, as per 2011 census the Eluru (M.Corp + OG) has a population of 218,020. Hence, the UA population is 8142+6393+10029+8250+218020 = 250834. As per municipal corporation website it is 217,876, and another figure 283,648 (which may be UA population).--Vin09 (talk) 05:02, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

As the page is about Municipal corporation so, the figure 283,648 might be the population of Municipal corporation.Imahesh3847 (talk) 07:55, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

He is a good human. As I am not yet on very friendly terms with IABot, I did not know his caretaker was being paid for taking care. i found that out when I visited your userpage. I think you're referring to mainly whether that montage is relevant here? There's not much guidelines on them beyond WP:MONTAGE. You're thus stuck with going at it on a case-by-case basis. Personally, the current on File:Eluru Montage.jpg has too many subimages so isn't too clear as presented but replace it only if there's a better choice (the one at Mumbai is quite decent for instance). You could even stick to a single image but then you'll have to make a harder choice. Commenting about the images here in general per MOS:IMAGES, there seems to be too many here. They should be reasonably spaced out throughout the article body, ideally alternating from right to left: WP:IMGLOC. They should be most pertinent rather than just decorative and have good captions. Avoid galleries, use the commons' template below if there are too many. Ugog Nizdast (talk) 09:17, 13 May 2017 (UTC)

Don't have any comments on the justification of the merge but not everything out of the steps highlighted in WP:PROMERGE has been done. I see that step 1 (copy and say it in the summary per the licensing requirements) and maybe step 2 are fully done.
