Feel free to make corrections here. Not too proud to admit there will be occasional boo-oos needed fixed and updates added.

I started this ambitious article since the Encyclopædia Britannica one does not even mention the many excellent films supplied the schools and libraries over the years and the subject was too great to add to an article focused on the publication itself. Also the film company tended to operate separately from the publication anyway, as a company subsidiary of sorts.

I do think it is possible to split this article in two later, with “Alphabetic listing of titles” being changed to secondary article “List of Encyclopædia Britannica Films”. However I enjoy having all of it on one page. Just call me a simpleton, but I like finding a title mentioned in the history section easily below when seeking more information on it.

By the way, I had originally intended to place these titles in date order, from 1929 through 1995. Yet it is easier to cross-reference titles A-Z, especially with certain ones being “revised” with only moderate change in different years. Also it fits the alphabetic listing of the Britannica encyclopedias themselves. Jlewis68 01:19, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
