Fair use rationale for Image:Enernoc Logo3.png[edit]

Image:Enernoc Logo3.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Not done There are some changes that are unsourced. The reliability of provided sources is questionable. Apart from that, the first two changes look too promotional. Also, you should fill in your request better next time. My suggestion would be that you should propose fixing factual errors first, if any. ~ Aselestecharge-paritytime 16:06, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Dauripam: The content of your request seems good. However, I noticed that you are using WP:PRIMARY sources to back up your statements, including one press release. These kind of sources are generally viewed as less good than WP:SECONDARY sources. Do you think you could find some secondary sources for us? If you can, I will fulfill your edit request. Sam at Megaputer (talk) 00:14, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Sam at Megaputer: As you asked, I searched for other WP:SECONDARY sources to submit. Is it possible now to edit the profile, since there are no sources connected to the informations?

thank you

@Dauripam: I have partially fulfilled your edit request by changing the company's location to Rome, Italy. However, the two other sources you supplied are not really independent of your company. Global Newswire sell press releases, which means that this source is actually a paid advertisement by your company and is therefore not independent. Likewise, the CrunchBase source is maintained by your company much like a social media profile. Do you think you could try again to get independent sources for these statements? Sam at Megaputer (talk) 02:11, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Sam at Megaputer:

Founded 2017 (source: https://xconomy.com/boston/2017/06/22/energy-software-firm-enernoc-inks-300m-sale-to-enel-group/)

Founder Enel S.p.A. (source: https://replicate-project.eu/community/partners/enel-x/)

Number of employees Over 2,500 (source: https://craft.co/enel-x)

so it should also be changed by the phrase:

Enel X, formerly EnerNOC, is the largest provider of demand response worldwide

to: Enel X, formerly EnerNOC, is the largest provider of demand response worldwide and products and services aimed at energy transformation at home, city and industrial level.

and

this phrase : Enel X was first established by Timothy G. Healy and David Brewster, as EnerNOC, LLC in New Hampshire from December 2001 until June 2003. On 5 June 2003 EnerNOC was incorporated in Delaware

to: Enel X was first established by Timothy G. Healy and David Brewster, as EnerNOC, LLC. The latter was acquired by the Enel Group in August 2017. [12]

then, I would like to updatethe page because it has no current information:

After the acquisition of EnerNOC, Enel X expanded its services by acquiring companies specialized in the digitization of energy services[13] and by creating partnerships with companies from industries such as automotive[14], home automation[15], ITC, and real estate[16].

The activities carried out in the field of electric mobility led to the installation of charging points throughout Italy[17]. In July 2018, Enel X acquired 21% of Ufinet International, a platform in the ultra-broadband sector in Latin America[18]. In the same period, Enel X expanded in the energy efficiency sector with the acquisition of Yousave[19]. In October 2018, Enel X announced that its subsidiary EnerNOC, Inc. rebranded to Enel X[20]. This operation was followed by the acquisition of Demand Energy (DEN) and eMotorWerks in the United States[21].

On December 20, 2018, Enel X and Infracapital signed a deal for energy efficiency projects for business customers[22]. In September 2018, progresses on the installation of new charging points in Italy were announced[23]. In January 2019, Enel X became Poland’s 2021 - 2023 demand response leader, with a 70% share in the segment[24].

In June 2019 Enel X and FCA signed a partnership agreement for the development of electric vehicle projects[25][26]. In October 2019 the company signed a partnership with Hyundai, comprising the possibility of recharging electric vehicles at Enel X public recharging infrastructures[27]. The same occurred with other car manufacturers, such as Audi[28], PSA[29] and Smart[30]. In January 2020, Enel X took part in the Consumer Electronics Show - CES in Las Vegas[31].

remove redirect from EnerNOC to Enel X[edit]

EnerNOC (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

I’m Pamela D'Auria from Enel X, I’m contacting you to discuss an issue regarding Enel X and EnerNOC here on Wikipedia. Initially there was an EnerNOC page created in August 2007 and changed shortly after (October) to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EnerNOC. You can watch this here:

15:35, 13 August 2007‎ Dkhwang talk contribs‎ 1,541 bytes +1,541‎ ←Created page with '{{Infobox_Company | company_name = EnerNOC, Inc. | company_logo = 150px|ENOC logo| company_type = Public ...'

17:18, 3 October 2007 diff hist +21‎ N Enernoc ‎ moved Enernoc to EnerNOC: appropriate company naming convention

The page is still accessible through the Wayback Machine, the version is dated 24 December 2016: https://web.archive.org/web/20170308065752/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EnerNOC. The issue then arose in March 2020, when a redirect was created without any reason from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EnerNOC to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enel_X. This was done despite the fact that they are not the same company. EnerNOC is indeed only one of the acquisitions made by the Enel Group. Below you can find some sources confirming this:

Subsequently the page was distorted, as you can see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Enel_X&diff=944737638&oldid=930238714

I look forward to your kind reply to resolve this issue. Thank you --Dauripam (talk) 11:30, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@GorillaWarfare:@Ymblanter: Essentially, Enel X and EnerNOC are two completely separate entities and have nothing to do with each other. More specifically, Enel X acquired EnerNOC in 2017 and this is confirmed by the sources provided, here are some examples: https://www.spglobal.com/marketintelligence/en/news-insights/trending/t5p4ccjwclzx6w_no9yj4g2, https://theenergyst.com/italian-utility-enel-buys-dsr-aggregator-enernoc/. It should be noted that the current Enel X is not only the result of this acquisition, but also of several other operations carried out by the company. For this reason, it is limiting to consider Enel X as the result of a historical evolution of EnerNOC, as this does not correspond to reality. Therefore the point is not to be independently notable to be two separate pages, since the independence of Enel X and EnerNOC is already an established fact. In conclusion, the two companies cannot be presented as a single page because this would be a mistake. Thank you.--Dauripam (talk) 15:06, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
