Please stop edit warring[edit]

User:Darkstar1st Please stop edit warring, you have done over five reverts in a 24 hour period. It is not the way to win arguments. If you can't understand how to translate the link provided ask at the help desk. Also please respond to the ANI at [1] over all your removals of socialist libertarianism at numerous articles. Thank you. ----Mrjulesd (talk) 14:06, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So the only part of the source that mentions libertarian from the source is (as per google translate): "Identity with the continental struggles to move towards the Bolivarian ideal of an integrated America is an example that President EVO endorses every moment and teaches us to encircle us in one libertarian and emancipatory cry from northern Mexico to southern Patagonia." That seems a bit of a stretch to describe "the Ideology" of the party as libertarian. --Obsidi (talk) 17:29, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Huh? They identify as being libertarian. Have you got any evidence to the contrary? --Mrjulesd (talk) 17:50, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The question is does the source say they identify as libertarian, from the part I quoted above it does not appear to say that. I don't need to provide evidence that they do not identify as libertarian, you (or someone) needs to provide a source that shows they do or it should be removed. --Obsidi (talk) 19:05, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You're going around in circles. That is precisely what the source says. --Mrjulesd (talk) 19:49, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If (for reasons that elude me) you think that the party website calling for a "libertarian cry from northern Mexico to southern Patagonia" is too ambiguous, why not request comment from Spanish-language Wikipedia editors, where the party was labeled libertarian. fi (talk) 22:13, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The unedited quote is "libertarian and emancipatory cry from northern Mexico to southern Patagonia" is it the emancipatory party ideology as well? Instead it is used more like the word freedom or liberty (not quite the same thing as a political ideology) ----Obsidi (talk) 02:33, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Look, the party has been called libertarian socialist on Spanish Wikipedia since at least 2012, through many subsequent page edits. If the website calling for libertarian this or that is not convincing, perhaps it would be best to request more information and sources from Chilean, or at least Latin American, editors familiar with the country's politics rather than reducing every socialist party's article to a stub because one editor doesn't like other countries using the word "libertarian" the way it's been used everywhere in the world for 150 years. fi (talk) 06:12, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

libertarian or libertarian socialist[edit]

Did an editor or machine translate the text? Please provide the passage that mentions libertarian socialist. Would it be considered OR to assume certain languages mean libertarian socialist when they use the term libertarian? Darkstar1st (talk) 12:15, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It says "los movimientos sociales" and then goes onto describe a socialist philosophy. Look why haven't you responded to the ANI about your editing patterns? --Mrjulesd (talk) 15:33, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
unless there is a translation that specifically mentions libertarian socialism, the tag should be reapplied.Darkstar1st (talk) 03:21, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
since the qoutation has not been provided and does not appear in extensive search, i will delete the ideology soon. if anyone has an objection, let's attempt to resolve here first. Darkstar1st (talk) 07:01, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Editors should not use machine translations of non-English[edit]

per wp:noeng. an editor keeps reinserting a contentious claim [2] without providing a translation. i suggest the editor self-revert. Darkstar1st (talk) 03:17, 26 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
