sculptor[edit]

The lead says the sculptor is unknown, but the source https://equestrianstatue.org/william-iii-2/ says it is by Peter Scheemakers Looking at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:010-SFEC-HULL-20070329-KINGBILLY.JPG, that seems plausible. Vexations (talk) 14:41, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Vexations, https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB32660 says that the sculptor is unknown. Though it does seem plausible that Peter Scheemakers was the sculptor. Also I must have got the sources muddled up, because this source http://www.scotland-guide.co.uk/ALL_AREAS_IN_SCOTLAND/Glasgow/Areas/Centre/William_III_statue.htm is the one that mentions the wind.
