The photo in this article is not a photo of Essex Court Chambers. It is a photo of a physical location from which Essex Court Chambers derives its name. But chambers is actually located a good ten minute walk away from this location: on Lincolns Inn Fields. China[edit]

In 2021 it was announced that Essex Court Chambers was one of four entities to be sanctioned by China.


For what ? No reference given. Were they giving advice to dissidents ? Arms-dealing ? Insulting the president ? With no exposition wild guesses can run wild.
