I don't yet know whether the Washington Parish has an image of Rev. Allen, and have not contacted Middlebury College, which has posted a photo of him online but asserted copyright ownership over it. The Connecticut copyright of what's become his historical masterwork (although with errors, as he admitted in the preface) indicates his divinity degree may be from Yale, but I haven't contacted them either, and the Diocesan archives have limited hours (and will not be open until Monday, which is already a full day for me). One or more of those sources may be able to fill in the family backgound and gravesite gaps. Feel free to fill them or make other appropriate additions.Jweaver28 (talk) 13:02, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
