Proposed deletion of Euroleague for Life Sciences[edit]

I don't understand what's missing. Do you think ELLS is not notable enough to exist on Wikipedia? For example there is a short article about University of Hohenheim where they talk about world rankings and the ELLS network. You can see for yourself that ELLS is a big deal at several top-ranked Life Sciences universities/colleges across the world, including Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, China, USA,... So I don't think the ELLS article is dubious or not notable enough. Heck, on the German wiki there is no problem with ELLS for ages... some links: https://www.topagrar.com/news/Home-top-News-Uni-Ranking-Hohenheim-wieder-Deutschlands-Nr-1-2848627.html http://prazsky.denik.cz/zpravy_region/czu-klade-vetsi-duraz-na-vedu-chce-prilakat-zahranicni-studenty-20161022.html https://idw-online.de/de/news648330 --Logbase10 (talk) 08:29, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi for an organisation to be considered notable it has to meet the following notability guidelines WP:NORG as well as WP:GNG. The sources provided do not show that it does. Independent sources have to be added, one is not enough, and these sources have to be in-depth coverage of the organisation. each Wiki has its own criteria for notability and the fact that it exists on other wiki projects does not give it an automatic pass elsewhere. Notability is not inherited and just because there are notable members in a network does not automatically make that network notable.
I hope this helps you to understand and enables you to find and add the necessary sources because as it is the article is a candidate for deletion especially now that you have removed the PROD before treating the concerns expressed, a PROD gave you a 7 day period of grace which is now gone and anyone can nominate this article for deletion and that can be quite quick. You might want to read WP:DEPROD. Domdeparis (talk) 09:04, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
