As the messages conveyed by the lyrics to Ska-P's songs are the group's reason for being, am starting a draft version for this album. Please add to it. 83.191.47.228 16:50, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

1. Circo Ibérico - deals with all the "fauna" of the Iberian Peninsula: species such as honest politicians, unbiased judges, celibate priests, etc.

2. Villancico - a Christmas carol - let's all enjoy ourselves while children die of hunger. The Vatican taking the name of Jesus Christ, mankind's first pacifist and hippy, in vain.

3. España Va Bien - criticism of the catchphrase "Spain's doing fine!" used by the then Spanish prime minister, José María Aznar, whenever he was asked about anything to do with the country. Ska-P claims that while things were going well for him and his cronies, bankers, etc., precarious employment was and is rampant for the rest of the population, along with cuts in social services, pensions, etc.

4. Paramilitar - calls for solidarity with Subcomandante Marcos in Chiapas, Mexico and the fight against oppression while the government stands by and lets the paramilitary forces of capitalism carry out their crimes.

5. Simpático Holgazán - about how King Juan Carlos I, a likeable lazybones, represents an oppressive undemocratic system.

6. Kémalo - burn the mink coats! Don't buy suffering and death - it's gratuitous.

7. Poder Pa'l Pueblo - Power to the people. Dedicated to all the freedom fighters of the Spanish Civil War.

8. Juan Sin Tierra - Homage to Victor Jara, Chilean poet and songwriter murdered in 1973 by Pinochet's security forces.

9. Kacikes (Spanish "caciques" - people who hold political and financial power at local level, especially in rural areas, and abuse such power often local businessmen, landowners, and even elected mayors, councillors, etc.) Don't bug me! - I'm powerful! Don't speak to me of equality.

10. América Latina Libre - Yankees go home!

11. Al Turrón - At a road block the police confiscates a quarter kilo tablet of hashish (turrón = nougat) but don't arrest anyone.

12. Seguimos en Pie - a call to rebel against the powers-that-be, the passivity of the population and society's perception that you are only worth what you have. There's still hope! Have faith - don't give in! - 'cos we're still standing!
