Noting repeated personal attacks on article Evgeny Rylov propagated by 2 editors between 23 November 2022 and 28 January 2023, inclusive. Editing was not per Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Noting constructive editing by 3 users following the first set of attacks by 1 anonymous user 84.251.164.85, which were later reverted by 1 anonymous user 109.71.177.2 and that attack propagated via reversion addressed in some form by 2 users. The conditions for a person not being able to represent their country are relevant for their performances at sporting competitions. Especially in Rylov's case, since he won multiple gold medals and the national anthem of Russia was not played, the name of his country was not used, the flag of his country was not raised, and he was not allowed to wear the outfit of his country chosen by his country. Since, that information has been repeatedly vandalized in the form of removal, I am noting concern of the inclusion of that information in the main article in regards to potential future additional attacks by vandalizers. As such, I am including the relevant information about restrictions on how Rylov was allowed to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics here on the article's talk page. He competed without the flag, original outfits, anthem, and name of his country, instead donning items selected by the International Olympic Committee for all Russians at the Games, who were required to compete as athletes for the Russian Olympic Committee per a ban from 17 December 2020 to 16 December 2022 enacted by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in response to widespread doping by Russians.[1][2][3][4][5]
