Name change due to absorbing a smaller club.[edit]

Before the start of the 2021–22 season, FCLSD will absorb a Départmental level local club, AS Dardilly, and become FCLDSD (FC Limonest Dardilly Saint-Didier, or in full FC Limonest Dardilly Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or).[1] [2] When I created this article it took some though with respect to WP:COMMONNAME as some sources simplify to FC Limonest, but more at the time used FC Limonest Saint-Didier. I fear the addition of another word into the name will take some time to be adapted as a common name, if it ever is, but I propose to reassess in July when the new National 3 seasons is drawn up, rather than make any moves now. Pinging @Paul Vaurie: as I know this is a favourite subject of yours and I would appreciate any thoughts. Other editors are, of course, free to comment.
