Oldest existing football club in continental Europe[edit]

St Gallen is the oldest existing football club in continental Europe, only if continental Europe excludes Copenhagen (which is on a island in Denmark). Kjøbenhavns Boldklub added football to their program on 24th October 1878, five months before St Gallen was founded. KB still have amateur teams and they form part of the professional club FC Copenhagen--Eujin16 (talk) 19:48, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
