Mistake[edit]

FC Twente did not come runners-up in the Erdevisie in 2008. Mistake on Page. Zakir2k 09:48, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a mistake, according to the official ranking of the Royal Netherlands Football Association they ended as runners-up in the Eredivisie of 2008. After 34 matches, they were 4th, but the UEFA claimed that the winner of the 2008 play-offs (qualifying for Champions League Qualifying Round) should be officially ranked as second. Women[edit]

As the women just won the women's Eredivisie and play the UEFA Women's champions league next season, should a section be added here or a new article be written? Best would be s small section here pointing to the new article. Anyone willing to help? -Koppapa (talk) 12:07, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Twente exploring the possibility of playing in Germany[edit]

An article in the Telegraaf two days ago mentioned that Twente is exploring the possibility of playing in Germany next season after its expulsion from the Eredivisie. German sources however state the German federation sees it as unlikely that such a plan will succeed. Nothing notable enough to include in the article as yet but worth keeping an eye on.
