Members[edit]

I think we only should include information that is specifically related to group activity and put everything else to articles of individual members. Monni 17:42, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We should. BTW, for those of you who can read Chinese, we can always use the company's newsletters to scrounge some information. Perhaps some additional info on the making of KO One (their premiere)? -Pandacomics 18:45, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have never heard from any of the fahrenheit interviews that Jiro is the group "leader." I believe they are all members. 35.11.241.235 03:42, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure there's no leader. HIM doesn't believe in groups with leaders; that's a J-star thing (e.g. 5566, 7F) - Pandacomics 05:34, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. So is there a leader, and is it Jiro? --Limey26 (talk) 14:20, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

dating?[edit]

A television producer (who is coincidentally the boyfriend of S.H.E member Ella's sister)

Somehow I think this is going to be nearly impossible to prove via news sources. List "keep" / "delete" votes please. Mine is delete, because of the above reason. - Pandacomics 13:10, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Idisagree with you as i think that it HAS been partly by WuChun himself and Ella's sister's boyfriend. i say 'keep'

  • delete, unencyclopedic trivia. Monni 16:27, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • delete: Although it has already been deleted, I'd like to state one reason for the deletion. The concept of "dating" is not encyclopedic unless the relationship somehow triggers an event that is of significance and therefore encyclopedic. The idea here is that dating is not legally binding in any way, and it can change from day-to-day. On the other hand, legalized marriages and other legalized civil unions are encyclopedic because they're more stable and verifiable. IMHO, dating is on the edge of being fancruft material, where only the extreme fan and NOT a casual reader would appreciate the information. Groink 00:27, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Arron's correct birth year[edit]

20060920 娛樂百分百 - 飛輪海之我家也有大明星 (下)_partA http://youtube.com/watch?v=ghRYN5vnBjs in this clip, the introduction clearly states Arron was born in 1986 so please fix that on wikipedia so there won't be any confusion —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Errrwin (talkcontribs) 20:02, 31 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

wow.[edit]

The film career section was ripped right off the bottom of the S.H.E page. If you guys are going to write something about their film career, at least reword it a little more. I don't own the text, but I certainly spent more effort than you did in finding the information. - Pandacomics 22:21, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've reworded it now, thank goodness. - Pandacomics 00:25, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

Notice NPOV is unattainable for this issue if we make it political, that's why I did not say anything about WP:NPOV.

We have two choices: make it political or non-political. Since this article is about a Taiwanese band, and not about the political status of the band's origin, using ROC would be political and inappropriate. Nobody reading this article is going to care whether Taiwan is ROC or an independent country just because it's called "Taiwan."--Jerrch 22:19, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jerrch, You're confusing two countries. ROC is Republic of China, otherwise known as Taiwan. You're thinking of PRC, People's Republic of China. ROC is an independent country that PRC (what we think of when we think of China) wants to take over. 122.125.135.52 (talk) 07:37, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

炎亚纶[edit]

Is his name Arron or Aaron? In some parts of this article it's spelled Aaron, but in other parts it's spelled Arron. I think it's Arron, but if it is, then Arron's article is full of spelling errors too. If I change the spelling here will I be breaking the links to Arron's article? And if I will be then how do I link it back? Sorry, inexperienced editor here. Limey26 (talk) 17:24, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's Aaron. "Arron" is incorrect. Pandacomics (talk) 18:01, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

But in Crunchyroll's Fahrenheit Fanclub it's spelled "Arron". Here's the link: http://www.crunchyroll.com/group/Fahrenheit_Fanclub Limey26 (talk) 07:52, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So? Crunchyroll has misspelled a number of other artists, such as U-ka saegusa IN db (spelt on CR as "Yuuka Saegusa IN db"). Trusting a fan-made site over the people who made the boyband is a bit ridiculous. Pandacomics (talk) 13:52, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry sorry! I checked the official website again, and it's spelled Aaron. My bad...Limey26 (talk) 14:23, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, how come in Aaron's blog he spells his name "Arron"? His username thingy is arronbubest. Limey26 (talk) 08:48, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You can ask him. He has a comment section on each of his blog posts. Maybe he'll answer, who knows. Pandacomics (talk) 09:10, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I thought his blog was hacked? Does he check it any more? And anyway I thought they are posting in their official website's blog now? Plus I don't have an account in their official website because you have to pay for it. Limey26 (talk) 11:04, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wu Chun ... ex member (?)[edit]

On 22 June 2011, HIM International Music issued a statement [1] that Wu Chun has left the group, they wish him well and that the group will continue as a trio with the remaining members Jiro Wang, Calvin Chen and Aaron Yan. Accordingly the article was amended to reflect this and referenced with the HIM statement and others from newspaper reports. However there are anonymous users (or user?) who insists on reverting these edits and removed the references, calling them unneccessary, false and ridiculous. Is anyone able to fine any reliable sources to state otherwise or are there any doubt as to the status of Wu Chun's membership?--Michaela den (talk) 21:59, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's not uncommon for fans to react unreasonably to such an announcement. There is definitely no doubt of his departure, considering it is effective immediately, though some people are probably not aware of it. Wu Chun will only continue to work with Fahrenheit to finish outstanding contracts. All we can do is remain vigilant and revert the changes. —Arsonal (talk + contribs)— 00:50, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Fahrenheit (Taiwanese band)/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Fair amount of sources, but the article needs some cleanup to reduce the length due to discographies and other extended lists. Arsonal 19:05, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
