Article title[edit]
I don't think the title of this article, "Falastin (Palestine) Street (Baghdad)" should suggest an alternative spelling of Falastin Street. I've never seen an article like that on Wikipedia. Shouldn't this be moved to Falastin Street or Palestine Street? Furthurmore, the title of the article, with two sets of parentheses confused me at first. --Eugeniu B (talk) 21:48, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
motivations for name[edit]
"There is another street in Iran with the same name. Iraq and Iran chose the name because they don't recognize the existence of Israel as a legitimate state." -- is there a source for this? There are plenty of other streets in the Arab world named for famous places; without a source the political motivation seems dubious. Philostratus (talk) 16:31, 20 June 2018 (UTC)

Why is it called palastine street?[edit]
I live in there and asked some people but they only told me it was because saddam liked naming streets after countries and cities 109.61.4.209 (talk) 23:28, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
