Worst Page Ever!

I went to this college and I am ashamed that I have. Its such a joke. This page reflects the laziness of fanshawe students. It has around 14,000 students a year and not one is willing to upgrade this page. They display a diploma???? why would you do that, who does that? what a trash school. Fanshawe College Riots

Early on the morning on March 18th after St. Patrick's day, over 1000 people, comprised primarily of Fanshawe students, rioted in the streets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.69.85.157 (talk) 02:54, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

I suppose this is worthy of mention due to the worldwide press attention (from the BBC, at least), but is it really any different from any of the other Fanshawe riots? They do that pretty much every year. Adam Bishop (talk) 10:24, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Agreed, it's actually pretty common. Usually during frosh week there is a riot. But the riots happen off school property and one can't say for certain what percentage if any of the actaul rioters are in fact students of Fanshawe college. For these reasons it shouldn't be mentioned in the article. However if someone wants to start a London, Ontario riots article be my guest. UrbanNerd (talk) 03:48, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

I think it should be mentioned here, instead of the general London article, because of many sources stating that primarily Fanshawe students were rioting and some were suspended as a result. If there are riots like this every year, then those should be mentioned too. It may seem like this is being overemphasized, since there are no other sections for historical events, but that's only because the article needs more work. The solution should be to expand the article, rather than remove something relevant that received international news coverage. QU (talk) 04:16, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

The fact that eight Fanshawe students were suspended is what makes it relevant - not the riot per se. Previous information about the president was also removed, and that showed a lack of attention. Secondarywaltz (talk) 01:55, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
