Simulated Leagues?[edit]

What are the requirements to be an example of a "successful" simulated fantasy league? I would say there are better choices than the ones currently listed but I know that's subjective. Adding more runs the risk of turning this into a directory, which I doubt that anyone wants. Would linking to a pre-existing directory be better?

A question I have is this: Is a simulation and a Fantasy League the same thing? I think a simulation is a Player's League (where the players create an actual person who plays in the games (like a goalie or forward)) and a fantasy league is where a player drafts players looking for players. My point is that Simulated Leagues should not be a part of this article. Wikifriendawesome 20:06, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fantasy is used to describe Simulation leagues too. A simulation is just that, nhl players or fake players, set ratings and software is used to sim to the games. And some of these sims are based off of NHL performance, so as is, just leave the sim leagues here, as they are fantasy hockey. Anung Mwka 18:51, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not all simulation games are computer based. There are a number of board game simulations worth mentioning, such as Face-Off and Strat-o-Matic (although now most have computer counterparts in addition to the paper-and-pencil games). 172.166.202.73RKH
