ASDA and Co-op[edit]

This article mentions that there is an Asda in Ransome Road - it could mention that this used to be a Co-op. Vorbee (talk) 08:13, 28 August 2018 (UTC) I am not quite sure when the Co-op became an ASDA, but I do not think it was until the twenty-first century. Cotton[edit]

The article does say the name comes from the Old English "cot" meaning "cottage" or "hut". Rollo August (talk) 19:24, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Horrible place[edit]

I used to live in Far Cotton, and know it to be a horrible part of Northampton. Some one wrote in Northampton's local paper that it ought to be known as "Far Gotten", a pun on "Forgotten". YTKJ (talk) 20:49, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
