Prejudice against Rottweilers![edit]

In every episode where a “vicious dog” is represented, Fear Thy Neighbour uses a Rottweiler breed! That is absolutely disgusting! All dogs can be vicious… it has to do with the owners and how the dog is raised. In fact, it’s the littler dogs you need to be worried about, as they lunge toward you and your “big dog” and the big dog protects itself and their family.

I have a Rottweiler and he is the gentlest soul! What the producers of Fear Thy Neighbour are doing is unfair! What next, Pittbulls or Dobermans?? They are gentle souls, too! You’re right, they do use the Rotties a lot. However, I don’t think it’s discriminatory. I think it’s because more people are afraid of them. The goal is to invoke as many emotions as possible for viewers to feel almost like they were there. The goal is always to appeal to the viewer.
