Merger proposal

Someone proposed merging this with Famine#Allegory in Nov 2011. I do not support this merge suggestion, since the fear gorta is a well-documented mythological creature, and should have its own page as do all other fairy creatures. It may also be an allegory for famine, in which case, it can be mentioned there and linked to here. This article can be expanded if needed. If further argument is called for, I'd say we don't eliminate the Kelpie article because it is a "Drowning allegory". Since there has been no other discussion, I recommend removal of the merge template. lunaverse (talk) 22:57, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
