The result of the move request was: moved as proposed. Steel1943's point regarding previous page moves is well-reasoned, though the difference in usage between the two articles is too great for a proposed page view assessment to have a material difference in results compared to what we have now. Fede Álvarez (filmmaker)Fede Álvarez – Per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. In the last 90 days, this article receives 19017 views (an average of 209 views per day), over 100 times as many views as Fede Álvarez (football), which receives 110 views (an average of 1 view per day). 153.221.47.139 (talk) 03:08, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. 90 days is too small a sample, but if we go back to 2015 it's clear that the filmmaker (whose page has been moved several times) is the primary topic. The footballer/manager gets very little interest. PC78 (talk) 03:43, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak oppose since the pageview numbers are skewed. On 7 June 2018, the filmmaker article was moved from Fede Álvarez to Fede Alvarez, then on 5 November 2018, the filmmaker article was moved again from Fede Alvarez to Fede Álvarez (filmmaker). The current situation was the result of WP:BOLD moves (that were not discussed or moved via consensus), so the pageviews will with intense certainty show the filmmaker's article being the most viewed article just due to the WP:PRECISE article title-violating issues caused by these page moves. (The ambiguous titles have targeted the filmmaker article since 7 June 2018.) The resolution here world be to create a disambiguation page to assess the amount of pageviews each page has after the base titles no longer target the filmmaker article. However, I'm "weak oppose" since the filmmaker article was at the base title prior to all of these page moves, so reverting those moves to put the filmmaker article back at the ambiguous tile would return to the original status quo before the somewhat botched page moves.
