"Was"?[edit]

Any reason the first sentence says Holz "was a German professional poker player" instead of "is"? Did he retire after winning the One Drop? Dalton Imperial (talk) 04:18, 28 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Holz still plays poker recreationally and will occasionally enter tournaments, but in 2016 he retired from professional play to pursue other interests. Chris H (GGPoker) (talk) 06:39, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
