evaluation[edit]

This doesnt really expand on any of the topics. It didn't show cause or effects or really even how you find out if you had this disorder. Im most likely going to restart the whole article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessierock4 (talkcontribs) 16:04, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Evaluation for Psych 101[edit]

This article is poorly formatted and needs the header to be revised. The page has no causes or possible reasons for this disorder. It also doesn't include any treatment options or possibilities for feeding disorders. This page could be improved with more detailed information on the subject. Additional scope to be considered[edit]

I see that this page has plenty of room for enhancements and can offer a lot of good information in various areas. Since this is a wide topic my suggestion would be to split it up in sections. I would like to see a section on types of eating disorders such as Anorexia, Bullimia and Binge Eating. Another section could be Eating Disorders in Athletes and then you can break it down even further like Disorders in Children, etc. I would also include a section on causes and a section on treatment

Copy-Edit Section[edit]

I am not sure if I am doing this part of the assignment correctly, but I am correcting a few errors and changing a few words. The first sentence should have a general definition regarding feeding disorders which are not specific to children. I would change it to -Feeding Disorders are abnormal eating habits that can threaten your health or even your life. This sentence should be revised--When the time has come for them to eat it has been seen in many cases that they will throw a big fit. The third sentence had wording issues and a typo error. I will wait until there is more content to review before making additional copy-edit suggestions.
