Is Fernanda Takai 1/2 Japanese or 1/4 Japanese?[edit]
Is she half Japanese or one-quarter Japanese? Somebody should provide this source. Sonic99 (talk) 03:59, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Both her paternal grandparents were Japanese, then she would be half Japanese (by "blood") even though her father was born in Brazil, which make him a Brazilian. Her maternal grandfather was from Portugal and the grandmother from Alagoas. Opinoso (talk) 04:18, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Opinoso, can you provide a link source that states she's half Japanese. Sonic99 (talk) 04:42, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[1] The source is in Portuguese and it talks about her family. If you do not know the language, I can help you with translation. Opinoso (talk) 15:49, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Where does it say that she is half Japanese on that webpage? Sonic99 (talk) 03:02, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't exactly say she is "half Japanese". It says her paternal grandparents were from Japan and met each other in Brazil. The father was born in Brazil. As I told you before, "by blood" she is "half Japanese", "1/4" Portuguese and "1/4" something else from Alagoas. Opinoso (talk) 10:52, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Are you saying that her maternal grandfather is a Portuguese? Her father's side of the family is pure Japnese? Sonic99 (talk) 05:20, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes...She said that people did not believe she is half Japanese, because she doesn't look to be. However, that is what she is. Opinoso (talk) 15:57, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Where does it say that her maternal grandfather is a Portuguese? Is Fernanda Takai's mother white? Sonic99 (talk) 00:54, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
hehehe... I don't know her mother, neither her father, sorry. I only said what the source said, ok? Opinoso (talk) 12:46, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
