Bit of a problem with the name. Fine Spinners and Doublers Association or Fine Cotton Spinners and Doublers Association. Web reports that a Fine Cotton Spinners and Doublers Association was formed in 1808

The Bellhouse History says it was founded in 1897 as The Fine Cotton Spinners and Doublers Association and changed its name to Fine Spinners and Doublers Limited "50 years later" i.e. shortly after World War II. Dormskirk (talk) 22:27, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
