Regarding tag questioning neutrality of major contributor (most likely me)[edit]

Since the tag "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject" most likely refers to my contribution, let me state: I work in the field of ophthalmology, I attend meetings and read studies and of course I know the major innovators in this field, at least in Europe and in the U.S. That's my "connection" to the subject ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by George G Milford (talk • contribs) 20:26, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Since the remark "major contributor" obviously refers to me and the gentleman who has tagged a number of my contributions with this COI has not responded to my email, let me - once again - state that I know Professor Flammer from meetings (when meetings were still held, before Corona), have read some of his publications. Therefore I know about Flammer syndrome - probably a lot which, as I understand it, should be the case when one writes something on Wikipedia. To those who doubt that it has become an established term in medical terminology, please check PubMed. Ophthalmology is a small field and everybody basically knows everybody - am I the only one from this discipline who now and then contributes to Wikipedia ? Should I apologize for it ? Let me repeat here: I'm not related to any of the individuals I have contributed about, do not work or have worked for any of them, have no relation to their business or whatever they may be doing at the moment. And, fortunately, I do not suffer from Flammer syndrome...:-) What else can I do ?
