This article is obviously written by Gea Politi, Giancarlo Politi's daughter, and is most definitely POV. It reads like an advertisement for FA Magazine, and should be heavily edited.

Semi-protection and 2011 controversy section[edit]

I have protected the article for 1 week because of the continued blanking of the 2011 Internship ad controversy section. However, please do not take this as me condoning that section. After reading it, I'm concerned that it gives WP:UNDUE weight to a single incident. I only protected because the blanking was being repeatedly done with no explanation. I'm hoping that the IP editor will come here and explain their rationale and a full discussion can be had. Qwyrxian (talk) 05:08, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I do not clearly understand how this falls under WP:UNDUE as, having read it, it seems to cover issues of opinion and belief rather than events. The subject of the 2011 Internship ad controversy section is in fact about an event that has had, as one may assess through the sources provided and by further investigation, wide and important media attention in both Italian and international media, mostly due to the two issues it struck, that of the widespread inobservance of tax and work law in Italian companies, and that of objectification of women, an issue that through recent events tied to Italy's former Prime Minister has greatly affected Italian political institutions, and public opinion. The relevant part is "An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject. For example, discussion of isolated events, criticisms, or news reports about a subject may be verifiable and neutral, but still be disproportionate to their overall significance to the article topic. This is a concern especially in relation to recent events that may be in the news. Note that undue weight can be given in several ways, including, but not limited to, depth of detail, quantity of text, prominence of placement, and juxtaposition of statements." The key question is, does this one event so important to the history of the company that it deserves to be highlighted in its own section, separate from the rest of the chronology. OK thank you for the clarification on that. I shall take into consideration to produce a more concise version, but still believe it should be inserted, given both the international and local media attention that this has generated thus defining, in part, the nature and image of the magazine which is the subject of this article.
