Being a new editor, I have posted a request for guidance in handling film plots at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Film#questions_about_Plot_guidelines Labbrla (talk) 15:45, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As others explained the plot section should be kept short. The purpose of the plot section is to provide enough information so that the rest of the article makes sense, it is not intended to provide all that much detail. The rest of the article (Production/Reception) can go into great details so long as you find reliable sources to verify things.
I checked out the French version of this page fr:Flashback_(film,_2021) hoping to find some French reviews but at the time of writing it has even less sources than the English version. Allocine.fr has two articles on this film.[1][2] (Warning: machine translations from French to English may sound excessively pretentious. Extensive rewriting paraphrasing and copyediting will be needed to turn the text into coherent English that is suitable for an encyclopedia.) The second article should help to expand the Production section: Vigneaux, first time director, writer, feminism, based on comedy sketch of hers, partly inspired by a real legal case, casting. etc. (The film has a user rating of 2.7 out of 5 on Allocine.fr but WP:USERGENERATED content, including user voted web polls are not allowed so please note that it should not be included.) As far as I can tell this film was added to Amazon Prime Video worldwide on 4 February 2022, that fits with approximately when I first noticed the trailer.
It doesn't seem to have gotten many reviews, not from mainstream reliable sources, and not even from the less reliable sources.[3]). I found a couple of French reviews, Le Parisien gave it 3.5 out of 5,[4] Télérama reviewed it (negatively I think) but it is paywalled[5]. -- 109.79.173.172 (talk) 20:36, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the suggestions! I will check them out. Labbrla (talk) 00:11, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
