Type on 1980's Packages[edit]

A Warrant Officer cannot ever be an E-6. Warrant Officer ranks are W-1 through CW-5. Flint was always a Warrant Officer.

A W-1 outranks ANY enlisted rank.

The man who wrote the G.I. Joe file cards from the 1980's, Larry Hamma, is a Vietnam Veteran and is well aware of this.

Flint's rank as E-6 was a typographical error on the original file card caused by an editor who was not familiar with military ranks.

People who are not mentally slow and even barely look into to this subject understand that.

If those of you who edit this article do not believe this perhaps you should contact:

a. Larry Hamma b. Any officer in the United States Military.

Thank you, and please stop being stupid.

Continuity Differences[edit]

I seem to remember Flint (and also some of the other characters) as being from the UK and not the US in the British continuity ('Action Force', rather than 'GI Joe'). The two differed considerably. It's been quite a while though so my memory may be playing tricks on me.

Flint was both in G.I. Joe and Action Force. He was, I think, pretty prominent in Action Force. - Destron Commander

Maybe the page should reflect his 'dual' biography. I can only find Action Force mentioned briefly on wiki even tho as I recall the characters' biographies, history, continuity and even the rosters themselves were often signficantly different between the UK an US versions. Quite an interesting phenomenon in itself.

Flint was from the UK in Action Force. He was the leader, with Lady Jane as second in command. Not sure what his bio details are though.Halbared (talk) 09:45, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
