Ukikusa or Ukigusa?[edit]

I noticed that this movie title is rendered here (and in Yasujiro Ozu's article as "Ukikusa", whereas in IMDB -and virtually any other place over- is "Ukigusa". I'd change it, but perhaps there is a reason for the difference. Is Ukikusa a better transcription...? Nazroon 17:16, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, and since there's been no response, I'm changing it. Languagehat (talk) 01:11, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's interesting the recent edit by User:Ume reverted this so I went and watched the referenced programme on Nihon Eiga Senmon Channeru, which I have recorded, and the announcer says "ukigusa" at the beginning. The Japanese wikipedia article also says "ukikusa" though. (ume did this) Any better evidence? JoshuSasori (talk) 07:17, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a poster which clearly uses Gusa. JoshuSasori (talk) 08:14, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Which is the same poster used in the article itself. JoshuSasori (talk) 09:23, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
