(Ir)relevant sentence?[edit]

In multiple of the articles I’ve read about him he goes on in some length about not making concessions and compromises. He also says that the goal of his party is not to win in elections but to convert people to Christianity so the marked sentence shows some his central political ideas well in my opinion.
