What is the source for the statement that Floris would have been based on count Floris V???

I don't know, actually. It might be nonsense, but though there are much historical errors, I still think he is the best party if we whould have had to mention someone who is similiar to the Floris-character. -The Bold Guy- 08:35, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think Floris V is just the most famous one. The series does not seem to reflect any actual historical person; and has rather taken up the name of a famous count/knight. Arnoutf (talk) 21:44, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
