Are we sure this engine is a SOHC? I thought it was a twin cam? Or am I getting confused?

Chains or belts?[edit]

Do these use timing chains or belts, or does it vary between revisions? --Zilog Jones (talk) 15:19, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. The paragraph that discusses the US market wanting a non-interference engine indicates the solution was for Europe to have a different piston size. So, did Europe retain the interference engine, with the US getting a non-interference engine? 98.51.195.38 (talk) 15:43, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of 1.6[edit]

The introductory paragraphs don't mention the 1.6L engine and needs to. 98.51.195.38 (talk) 15:52, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Overview of Applications[edit]

For continuity and clarity, there should be a section heading for "1.6 and 1.8" above the list of applications for those engine sizes. The next section is already named "2.0", accordingly. 98.51.195.38 (talk) 16:00, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

2.0 Mondeo[edit]

The list of applications in the "2.0" section fails to include the Mondeo. 98.51.195.38 (talk) 16:08, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
