During the "Parent Trapped" episode of the television sitcom, The King of Queens, the character "Doug" played by Kevin James, mistakingly believes the song is "Reverend Blue Jeans" rather than "Forever in Blue Jeans". Because he had misheard the lyrics, he is corrected by his wife character, "Carrie" played by Leah Remini.
