Comparison

Is this similar to a community college (Associates Degree) in the United States? If so, I will add the comparison to make it more comprehensible for 300 million American readers (it is sometimes--rarely--used in Canada too). Also any comparisons to the AUS/NZ systems would be helpful.--71.111.229.19 (talk) 11:01, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

Very roughly, yes, it is similar. Don't know offhand about Australia and New Zealand, but many countries are developing education at this level. Itsmejudith (talk) 10:19, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Meaning?

I do not understand what this sentence under the History section is intended to say or how it should be worded, "This has been blamed on a number of factors, including the introduction of student number could that limited the number of students universities could recruit rather than the tourism number on courses". Could this be clarified/corrected?--172.243.78.104 (talk) 22:46, 21 January 2018 (UTC)

I've clarified the text - it looks like a couple of words had (what I assume are) auto-correct errors. Robminchin (talk) 16:17, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
